Visit
The Farm is open year-around for passive recreation and enjoyment. Trails are being developed to highlight vistas of the farm and the community beyond and to link with trails in the adjacent Whipple Hill and Locke Farm conservation areas. The three areas together contain approximately 140 acres of hills, ponds, glacial eskers, and meadows criss-crossed with colonial-era stone walls. The Conservancy sponsors occasional activities at the farm and encourages visits by school and other groups. Watch the calendar for planned events; contact the Conservancy to arrange a group visit.
To preserve the natural landscape and environment, the following are prohibited by charter:
- Motorized vehicles except for farm implements and maintenance equipment;
- Bicycles;
- Wetland recreation;
- Sponsored, organized team sports and playing fields.
