Programs for Senior Citizens

Senior Tea Times

Seniors are invited to relax and connect at our free Senior Tea Time. We proudly host 6 high teas each year in partnership with our sponsors at Winchester Mt. Vernon House. Enjoy a warm cup of tea, delicious homemade treats, and the serene beauty of the farm. This special gathering is a perfect opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, and unwind in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you’re here to socialize, explore the farm, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment, we’re here to make your visit memorable.

Senior Cooking Classes

These small group cooking classes in our farm kitchen are focused specifically on nutrients that are critical as we age. Learn a new recipe and then enjoy eating it in our beautiful All Seasons Barn. Click on a date below to register!

  • April 30th: Dietary Fat (the good and the bad) Recipe: Chickpea and Walnut Burgers (FULL)
  • May 21st: Protein, Recipe, Quinoa Bowl: Herbed Chicken Salad, Peas, Arugula, PRO, Pumpkin Seeds (2 SPACES)
  • August 6th: Fiber, Recipe: Berry Shortcake with Oat and Chia (7 SPACES)
  • October 22nd: Calcium and Vitamin D, Recpie, Asian Inspired Tuna Cakes with Crispy Bok Choy Slaw (1 SPACE)
